This necklace is a stylized Apollonian circle packing, which starts out with four circles that all touch each other at one point. The rest of the circles are generated by removing one of the four circles and finding a replacement circle that touches each of the others. This process can continue indefinitely with smaller and smaller circles.
In this necklace we show off a part of a random Apollonian circle packing; the outer circle forms the bottom curve of the necklace.
We complete the necklace to create an 18" necklace. The length of the chain can be personalized - leave a note in your order.
Dimensions: The pendant measures 3.9in (100mm) wide.
Our Nylon jewelry is created through a laser sintering process in which the model is fused together one layer at a time from white nylon powder. The jewelry is then dyed to give it its final color.
